Sites of the Week: November 17, 2012

“To acquire knowledge, one must study; but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.”

Now on to this week’s sites.  This week, I’m sending out three ‘Site of the Week’ recommendations.

Feedage.com

http://www.feedage.com/

Feedage is a free fully categorized and searchable RSS directory of almost 8 million feeds. The site is designed to make it easy for you to find and subscribe to an RSS feed.

SlideShark

https://www.slideshark.com

Like to travel light? This free iOS app enables you to display PowerPoint presentations from your iPhone or iPad. You just upload your slideshow to the SlideShark site and the app syncs with it. You can also download your presentation from Dropbox. While you cannot create presentations directly in the app itself, you can reorder slides and hide individual slides. The SlideShark  app includes 100MB of free space in the SlideShark cloud account which should be sufficient for a number of presentations.

Microsoft Download Center

If you’ve either made the switch to Windows 8 or are just considering upgrading, head over to this Microsoft site where you can download the Windows 8 and Windows RT Product Guide.
