Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air. . . .
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,
Where never lark, or even eagle flew—
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.

Mental Floss: Misconceptions about Pets
Even if you don’t have a pet, you may find this video interesting. Mental Floss has a weekly debunking common misconceptions. In this edition, the host discusses 10 misconceptions about pets. If you enjoy this pet video, there are a number of recent episodes from which to choose at the conclusion. Another episode you might enjoy is ‘100 Amazing Facts’. For example, Fact #7 is the interesting but completely useless fact that the sum of the numbers on a roulette wheel is 666.

Bios Urn: How To Turn Into A Tree After You Die
This subject may make some of you uncomfortable, but let’s face it—none of us is getting out of here alive. This site offers an alternative to traditional options: burial, cremation or donation to science. Bios Urn is made from biodegradable materials and contains a tree seed of your choice. The tree seed is nourished by and absorbs nutrients from the ashes of your body and transforms you into a tree. Bios urns are also available for your pets. The urns do not have an expiration date so they’re “ready when you are.” The cost of the Bios Urn is $145.
